Qube Cinema converts first single screen in North India to 4K digital.
Real Image Media Technologies Pvt Ltd is pleased to announce the successful installation of Qube Cinema 4K 3D systems at Lucknow’s Novelty Talkies, the first single screen in North India. Novelty Talkies is the premium single screen in all of Uttar Pradesh, offering audiences in the area a quality movie-viewing experience, with large screens and digital surround sound.
The deal will double the number of screens in India that feature the immersive sound format.

Bringing High Frame Rate 3D Movies to the Largest Screen in SW Ohio
Qube Cinema has once again partnered with D3D Cinema to install its single-server True 4K 3DTM system, this time at the newly renovated Air Force Museum Theater (AFMT) in Dayton, Ohio. The museum has upgraded from 15/70 film projection to the Qube XP-I server and dual Xi 4K Integrated Media Blocks (IMBs) and is the fifth giant screen installation in North America to use this Qube system.

Demonstrating Standalone Software for Preview and Quality Control of DCPs
Qube Cinema will introduce QubeMaster Preview, its standalone software application for previewing DCPs, at CineEurope in Barcelona, June 24-27. QubeMaster Preview allows DCPs, mastered from any source, to be viewed on a PC.
Postproduction studios, independent filmmakers and mastering facilities now have an affordable way to preview and QC their mastered DCPs.

Through this new partnership with Wave Cinemas, 28 screens have been converted to digital with Qube Cinema. Wave Cinemas now boasts 10 E-cinema screens and 15 2K screens in addition to the 3 4K screens, across Noida, Rajouri Gardens, Moradabad, Ludhiana, Lucknow, Kaushambi and Haridwar.
Deployment of over 3,000 DCI-certified projectors scheduled over the next three years
Real Image Media Technologies (RIMT) has recently entered into a strategic partnership with Barco in India. The first 700 units are scheduled for installation during the first year, with deliveries starting in May 2013. Over the next three years, 3,000 DCI-compliant Barco projectors are expected to be deployed in theaters across India.
